Powered Child Mobility Build Manual

 

The ultimate goal of this project was to create a build manual for parents, caregivers, or any other community members to instruct them on how to build either or both of our two prototyped designs.

 

Each design has its own advantages and shortcomings, which are established in a pros and cons list at the beginning of our manual. To help you choose which design is best for your child, there is a short survey at the beginning of the manual as well.

 

Throughout the manual, there will be mentions of supplemental videos that accompany a process or a small set of steps. These are intended to help better walk you through any confusing build process we came across during construction.
